Biography:
Mania is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily in stories featuring Venom and other symbiotes.
There have been two notable characters who have held the Mania mantle. The first and better-known is Andi Benton. Andi gained her symbiote after bonding with a fragmented clone of the Venom symbiote created by Project: Rebirth 2.0. This fragment was intentionally designed to be more obedient.
As Mania, Andi possesses powers similar to Venom, including enhanced strength, speed, agility, and the ability to create tendrils and bladed weapons. She also gained the ability to inflict a "Hell-Mark," which causes intense fear and pain in her targets. Her initial appearances were marked by a struggle to control the symbiote's violent tendencies.
The second Mania was Jennifer Smith, an FBI agent and close friend of Andi. Jennifer temporarily bonded with the Mania symbiote after Andi was unable to control it.
