Biography:
General Grievous, born Qymaen jai Sheelal, was a Kaleesh warrior from the planet Kalee who became a cyborg Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars. Originally a skilled warrior and strategist fighting against the Republic-backed Huk, Sheelal suffered a catastrophic accident orchestrated by the Separatist movement.
Count Dooku saw Sheelal's potential and offered him a new life as a cyborg, transforming him into the fearsome General Grievous. His body was largely mechanical, retaining only his brain, eyes, and a few vital organs. This augmentation significantly enhanced his combat abilities, allowing him to wield multiple lightsabers simultaneously, a skill taught to him by Dooku.
Grievous was infamous for his ruthlessness and his personal collection of lightsabers taken from Jedi he had killed. He frequently wore a tattered cape, a symbol of his authority and battlefield prowess. Despite his formidable skills, Grievous was plagued by coughing, a consequence of his cybernetic reconstruction. He was ultimately defeated and killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi on Utapau, marking a significant blow to the Separatist cause.
