Guts is the protagonist of the dark fantasy manga and anime series, Berserk, created by Kentaro Miura.
Born from the corpse of his lynched mother, Guts was raised as a mercenary by Gambino, the leader of a mercenary group. He was thrust into battle from a young age, honing his exceptional swordsmanship and survival skills.
Driven by a relentless desire for strength and independence, Guts travels as a lone swordsman, seeking purpose and challenging powerful foes. He wields the Dragonslayer, a massive sword capable of cleaving through both men and demons alike.
