Biography:
Guts is the central protagonist of the dark fantasy manga and anime series Berserk, created by Kentaro Miura.
Born from the corpse of his hanged mother, Guts was raised by a mercenary named Gambino. He quickly learned to fight, becoming a skilled swordsman at a young age.
After tragic events involving Gambino, Guts embarks on a solitary path of survival, constantly battling demonic creatures.
He eventually joins the Band of the Hawk, a mercenary group led by the charismatic Griffith. Within the Band, Guts finds camaraderie and purpose, forming strong bonds with his fellow soldiers, including a romantic relationship with Casca.
However, Griffith's ambition and a horrific event known as the Eclipse lead to the near destruction of the Band and forever mark Guts with a Brand of Sacrifice, attracting evil spirits and driving him to seek revenge against Griffith, now the demonic Femto.
Guts is portrayed as a brooding, fiercely independent warrior burdened by trauma and driven by an unyielding determination to protect those he cares about.
