Biography:

John Walker, known as U.S. Agent, is a complex and often controversial figure in the Marvel Universe. Chosen as a replacement for Captain America by the U.S. government after Steve Rogers relinquished the role, Walker initially embodied a more nationalistic and aggressive version of the hero.

Walker's tenure as Captain America was marked by brutality and questionable judgment, stemming from performance-enhancing serum and a deep-seated desire to prove himself worthy. This led to significant moral compromises and public disillusionment.

Stripped of the Captain America title, Walker was then re-branded as U.S. Agent, serving as a government operative often working in morally gray areas. While retaining his enhanced abilities, he continued to struggle with his past actions and sought redemption.

As U.S. Agent, Walker has been a member of various teams, including Force Works and the West Coast Avengers. More recently, he's been associated with the Thunderbolts, often taking on missions that require a less-than-heroic approach.
