Biography:

Sandman, also known as William Baker or Flint Marko, is a prominent character in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with Spider-Man. He began as a petty criminal, his life forever altered after exposure to irradiated sand on a beach near a nuclear testing site.

This accident fused his body with the sand, granting him the ability to transform his body into sand at will. He can control individual grains, create sandstorms, and even increase his size and density to superhuman levels. Initially a villain, often clashing with Spider-Man, Sandman has occasionally walked the path of a reluctant anti-hero.

His motivations have varied throughout his comic book history, ranging from simple greed to a desire for redemption. He is a complex character whose powers make him a formidable opponent, capable of immense destruction but also, on occasion, great acts of heroism. His textured history makes him more than just another Spider-Man villain.
