Biography:
Hulkling, whose real name is Theodore "Teddy" Altman, is a prominent character in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Young Avengers #1 in 2005.
He is the son of Kree warrior Captain Mar-Vell and Skrull princess Anelle, making him a hybrid with the combined powers of both alien races. This heritage makes him a significant figure in intergalactic politics.
Hulkling possesses superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and a powerful healing factor. He also has shape-shifting abilities inherited from his Skrull mother. He can alter his appearance and density at will.
Initially unaware of his true origins, Teddy believed himself to be a normal teenager. His powers manifested when he was attacked. He was recruited by Iron Lad to join the Young Avengers, where he forged close relationships, especially with Wiccan (Billy Kaplan), who eventually becomes his husband.
Hulkling's character is often defined by his struggle to reconcile his Kree and Skrull heritage, the conflict between these two warring empires, and his desire to protect those he loves. He has risen to become a major leader and unifier of the Kree/Skrull Alliance.
