Wally West, portrayed by Keiynan Lonsdale, is Kid Flash in The CW's Arrowverse, primarily appearing in *The Flash* and *Legends of Tomorrow*. He is the son of Joe West and Francine West, and the younger brother of Iris West.
Initially, Wally is a reckless street racer unaware of his metahuman potential. After exposure to dark matter during the Particle Accelerator explosion, he gains superhuman speed, becoming Kid Flash.
He joins Team Flash, learning to control his powers and becoming a valuable asset in protecting Central City. He struggles initially with living up to the Flash's reputation and earning his father's approval, but eventually finds his footing as a hero.
Later, Wally leaves Central City to find his own path, eventually joining the Legends of Tomorrow. He grapples with mental health issues and finds solace working alongside the team, further developing his skills and maturity as a superhero before departing again.
