Harry Potter

Lord Voldemort, born Tom Marvolo Riddle, is the central antagonist of the Harry Potter series. Born in an orphanage on December 31, 1926, to a witch mother and a Muggle father who abandoned her upon learning of her magic, Riddle possessed extraordinary magical abilities from a young age. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he excelled academically and developed a charismatic facade, masking his ruthless ambition and desire for power.

While at Hogwarts, Riddle delved into dark magic, opening the Chamber of Secrets and unleashing a basilisk. He became obsessed with immortality, splitting his soul into multiple Horcruxes to evade death. Following graduation, he adopted the alias Lord Voldemort, gathering a following of dark wizards and witches known as Death Eaters. Voldemort waged a reign of terror against the wizarding world, seeking to purify it of Muggle-born witches and wizards.

Voldemort's attempt to kill the infant Harry Potter rebounded due to Lily Potter's sacrifice, leaving him weakened and bodiless. He spent years regaining his strength, eventually returning to full power and resuming his quest for dominance. Voldemort was ultimately defeated by Harry Potter in the Battle of Hogwarts, ending his reign of terror and fulfilling a prophecy that foretold his demise.
