Biography:
Daken, also known as Akihiro, is a Marvel Comics character and the son of Wolverine and his deceased Japanese wife, Itsu. He was born in Japan during World War II and presumed dead after his mother's murder by the Winter Soldier.
However, Daken was rescued and raised by Romulus, who manipulated him into becoming a ruthless assassin. Like his father, Daken possesses a healing factor and retractable claws, though his claws emerge from his wrists instead of his knuckles and are coated with a substance that can weaken or kill depending on the target.
Initially, Daken was introduced as an antagonist to Wolverine, driven by a desire for revenge and a twisted sense of purpose. He has been associated with various villainous groups, including Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers, where he adopted the mantle of Wolverine.
