Biography:
Nebula is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics and related media, most notably portrayed by Karen Gillan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Originally a supervillain, she's evolved into a complex anti-hero.
Created by Roger Stern and John Buscema, Nebula debuted in 1985's The Avengers #257. Initially introduced as the granddaughter of Thanos, this claim was later retconned to reveal she was instead one of Thanos's adopted daughters, raised and brutally trained alongside Gamora.
Cybernetically enhanced, Nebula possesses superhuman strength, durability, and regenerative abilities. Her body has been repeatedly rebuilt after suffering severe injuries. Driven by a desire for power and recognition, she often clashed with the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and her own sister.
In the MCU, Nebula's arc showcases significant character development. Beginning as a ruthless servant of Thanos, she gradually confronts her trauma and abuse, ultimately finding redemption and fighting alongside her sister and the other heroes to defeat Thanos.
