Oliver Queen, also known as Arrow, is a fictional superhero appearing in The CW's television series Arrow, based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. Portrayed by Stephen Amell, Oliver is the presumed-dead billionaire playboy who returns to Starling City after five years stranded on a remote island, Lian Yu.
During his time away, Oliver underwent rigorous training in combat, survival, and archery, transforming him into a skilled vigilante. Upon his return, he adopts the moniker "Arrow" and begins a mission to right the wrongs of his city, initially targeting the corrupt elite whose names he carries on a list from his father.
