Biography:

Arthur Douglas was a human whose family was killed by Thanos. To combat the threat, his spirit was transferred into a powerful alien body by Kronos, becoming Drax the Destroyer.

Initially, Drax existed solely to kill Thanos, possessing immense strength, durability, and the ability to project energy blasts. His intellect was intentionally reduced to enhance his rage and single-minded focus.

Over time, Drax's purpose shifted, and he became more of a cosmic hero, joining teams like the Guardians of the Galaxy. He retained his incredible physical abilities but often struggled with understanding metaphors and social cues, leading to comedic moments.
