Biography:
Terrax, originally Tyros, was the ruler of the planet Birj. He was transformed into a herald of Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, imbued with the Power Cosmic.
Galactus granted Tyros immense cosmic power, turning him into Terrax the Tamer. Terrax wields a cosmic axe and commands the very earth itself, creating earthquakes, landslides, and manipulating the ground with devastating effect.
Unlike other heralds, Terrax was notoriously treacherous and unconcerned with the well-being of inhabited worlds. He reveled in the destruction he wrought, often choosing planets rich in life to appease Galactus, furthering his own power.
Terrax frequently clashed with Earth's heroes, particularly the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer. He was eventually stripped of his Power Cosmic, but his inherent ruthlessness and tactical cunning always made him a dangerous opponent.
He has been defeated and seemingly killed multiple times, only to be resurrected or returned to life through various means, maintaining his status as a formidable and recurring threat in the Marvel Universe.
