Superior Spider-Man is a Marvel Comics character inhabiting the body of Peter Parker but controlled by the mind of Doctor Octopus, Otto Octavius. Otto, facing his imminent death, used his technological genius to swap his consciousness with Peter's.
Initially, Otto intends to simply continue being a villain in a younger, healthier body. However, he finds himself gradually influenced by Peter's memories and experiences, slowly adopting a more heroic, albeit ruthless, approach.
As the Superior Spider-Man, Otto is more efficient and proactive than Peter ever was. He uses advanced technology, creates an army of Spider-Bots, and isn't afraid to use lethal force when he deems it necessary. His methods, however, are often unethical and alienate his allies and loved ones.
Ultimately, Otto recognizes that Peter Parker is the better Spider-Man and sacrifices his control of the body to allow Peter to regain it, acknowledging his own limitations and the importance of Peter's moral compass. He left Peter some of his memories, giving Peter some edge he wouldn't normally have.
