Inque is a shapeshifting supervillain from the DC Animated Universe, specifically Batman Beyond. Originally a shapeshifting assassin created by Derek Powers' company, Powers Technology, she was a failed experiment discarded due to her instability.
Her body is composed entirely of a black, viscous fluid, allowing her to mimic appearances, squeeze through small spaces, and regenerate from damage. She gains her powers from absorbing energy, often electricity, and her abilities include enhanced strength, speed, and elasticity.
Inque's primary motivation is survival and self-preservation, driving her to commit crimes to sustain her form and prevent it from dissipating. She has a complex relationship with Batman (Terry McGinnis), fluctuating between antagonist and reluctant ally when their goals align.
She is one of Terry McGinnis' most persistent and challenging foes.
