The Mandalorian, often called "Mando," is the central character in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. His real name is Din Djarin.
Orphaned as a child during a Separatist attack on his village, he was rescued and adopted into the Mandalorian culture, adhering to their strict warrior code known as "The Way of the Mandalore." He became a skilled and formidable bounty hunter.
Early in the series, Din Djarin is contracted to capture Grogu, a Force-sensitive infant. However, he forms a strong bond with Grogu and ultimately defies his client, prioritizing the child's safety and setting him on a path away from bounty hunting and toward protecting Grogu.
