Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is a Marvel Comics character renowned for his superhuman speed. Born in Wundagore Mountain, Transia, alongside his twin sister Wanda (Scarlet Witch), he is the son of Magneto, although this connection was initially unknown to him.
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch initially joined Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, fighting against the X-Men. However, they later defected, seeking redemption and joining the Avengers, where they became vital members of the team.
