Wanda Maximoff, known as the Scarlet Witch, is a powerful Avenger and complex figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Born in Sokovia, she and her twin brother Pietro (Quicksilver) were orphaned and volunteered for HYDRA experiments involving the Mind Stone, granting them superhuman abilities.
