Kid Loki is a character appearing in Marvel Comics, an alternate version of Loki Laufeyson, the God of Mischief. He originated after Loki was killed during the Siege storyline.
Following his death and subsequent rebirth, Loki found himself as a young boy with amnesia. This new, younger Loki was seemingly free from the manipulative and villainous tendencies of his previous incarnation. He retained some magical abilities, but initially struggled to control them.
Kid Loki sought redemption for the actions of his past self. He joined the Young Avengers, hoping to prove he could be a hero. However, the lingering influence of the previous Loki, embedded within his very being, presented a constant challenge. This led to inner turmoil and the fear that he was destined to become evil once more.
Ultimately, Kid Loki's efforts to escape his fate were unsuccessful. The original Loki manipulated events to reclaim his body and memories, effectively ending Kid Loki's existence and absorbing him back into the older, more familiar version of the character.
