Robin is the name adopted by multiple characters in DC Comics, all serving as sidekicks to Batman. The most well-known is Dick Grayson, a young acrobat whose parents were murdered. Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, takes him in and trains him, recognizing a kindred spirit and a need to channel his anger into justice.
