Biography:
Bonnie, whose full name is rarely mentioned, is a central character in the 1997 thriller film, The Game, directed by David Fincher.
She is introduced to Nicholas Van Orton, a wealthy but emotionally detached investment banker, by Conrad, his estranged brother. Conrad presents Nicholas with a cryptic gift certificate to Consumer Recreation Services (CRS), a company promising transformative, personalized experiences.
Bonnie works for CRS and acts as Nicholas' primary point of contact and guide, albeit in a deceptive and enigmatic manner. Her role is deliberately ambiguous; it's never entirely clear if she is manipulating Nicholas, genuinely trying to help him, or simply acting within the parameters of the "game."
She appears in various guises throughout the film, contributing to the blurring of lines between reality and simulation, a key thematic element of The Game. Her true motivations remain unclear until the film's climax, where her connection to the entire scenario is revealed.
Bonnie is portrayed by actress Deborah Kara Unger.
