Thor Odinson, often simply called Thor, is a prominent figure in Marvel Comics. He is based on the Norse mythological god of the same name and is a powerful warrior and protector of both Asgard and Earth.

Thor is the son of Odin, the Allfather, and Gaea, the Earth goddess. This unique parentage grants him tremendous power, including superhuman strength, speed, durability, and the ability to control thunder and lightning.
