Biography:

The Joker is a fictional supervillain created by Jerry Robinson, Bill Finger, and Bob Kane, first appearing in DC Comics' Batman #1 in 1940. His origins are intentionally vague, often depicted as an unnamed chemical engineer who, after a failed robbery, falls into a vat of chemical waste, bleaching his skin, turning his hair green, and stretching his face into a permanent, Glasgow smile.

Driven insane by this transformation and the events leading up to it, the Joker becomes Batman's archenemy. He is characterized by his chaotic, unpredictable nature, homicidal tendencies, and penchant for elaborate crimes, often incorporating theatrics and dark humor.

Unlike many villains motivated by power or wealth, the Joker's primary goal seems to be to prove that anyone can be driven to madness, often trying to corrupt Batman or Gotham City as a whole. His motivations and actions are largely nihilistic, showcasing a lack of empathy and a profound disregard for human life and societal norms.
