Ant-Man is a superhero identity adopted by several characters in Marvel Comics, most notably Hank Pym and Scott Lang.
Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym is a brilliant scientist who discovered subatomic particles that allowed him to shrink and grow in size. He initially used this technology as the superhero Ant-Man, and later evolved into other heroic identities like Giant-Man and Yellowjacket.
Scott Lang is a former thief who reformed and became the second major Ant-Man. He was chosen by Hank Pym to take on the mantle and use the shrinking technology to help others and protect the world. Lang is portrayed as resourceful and good-hearted, often struggling to balance his superhero life with his responsibilities as a father.
Both Pym and Lang utilize suits that enable them to shrink to ant-size and increase their strength proportionally. They also often control ants through specialized communication devices.
