Ant-Man is a mantle shared by several characters in Marvel Comics, most notably Hank Pym and Scott Lang.

Henry "Hank" Pym, a brilliant scientist, is the original Ant-Man. He discovered "Pym Particles," which allow him to alter his size, shrinking to the size of an ant or growing to gigantic proportions. Pym also developed a helmet that allows him to communicate with insects. He is a founding member of the Avengers, though his mental instability often proves problematic.

Scott Lang is the second, and arguably more well-known, Ant-Man. A former thief, Lang stole Pym's Ant-Man suit to save his daughter, Cassie, from a serious illness. Impressed by Lang's heroism, Pym allowed him to keep the suit and become a superhero. Lang possesses the same size-altering abilities as Pym, and he is also skilled in electronics and engineering. He is a member of the Avengers and played a pivotal role in defeating Thanos.

Both versions of Ant-Man utilize the same technology and powers, but their personalities and backgrounds differ significantly, offering unique takes on the character.
