Scott Lang, a former thief and electrical engineer, is the Marvel superhero known as Ant-Man. His suit, designed by Hank Pym, allows him to shrink to the size of an ant while retaining his strength, and also grow to giant size.
During the events of Avengers: Endgame, Lang's knowledge of the Quantum Realm becomes critical to the Avengers' plan to travel through time. He was trapped in the Quantum Realm when Thanos snapped his fingers, effectively skipping the five years between Infinity War and Endgame.
Upon his unexpected return, Lang proposes using the Quantum Realm for time travel to undo Thanos' actions. He plays a key role in convincing the Avengers and contributing to the time heist, allowing them to gather the Infinity Stones and ultimately defeat Thanos.
