Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch, is a fictional superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

As a teenager, Johnny gained his superhuman abilities after being bombarded by cosmic rays during an unauthorized space flight with his sister Susan, her boyfriend Reed Richards, and pilot Ben Grimm. These rays granted him the power to engulf himself in flames, fly, and project fire.
