Biography:

Black Lantern Flash is a terrifying antagonist from DC Comics' "Blackest Night" storyline. He is not the Barry Allen Flash restored to life, but rather a grotesque perversion of the hero, animated by a Black Lantern ring powered by the black energy of death.

During the "Blackest Night" event, Nekron, the embodiment of death, sought to eliminate all life. He resurrected deceased heroes and villains as Black Lanterns, fueled by emotional energy. Barry Allen, having previously died and returned to life, was considered a vital anchor to the living world.

The Black Lantern ring latched onto Barry Allen's corpse in his grave and created a corrupted version of the Flash. This Black Lantern Flash possessed Barry's speed, knowledge, and memories, but twisted them to instill fear and despair in the living. His sole purpose was to extinguish emotional energy and recruit more Black Lanterns.

He served as a terrifying symbol of loss and a major threat, forcing the living heroes to confront their own grief and fight against their fallen comrades. Ultimately, he was defeated alongside Nekron when the emotional spectrum was harnessed to sever the Black Lantern rings' connection to their power source.
