Waylon Jones, also known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics supervillain, primarily an adversary of Batman. Born with a rare form of atavism, his condition caused him to develop reptilian traits, including hardened skin, sharp claws, and teeth. Initially a sideshow performer and carnival wrestler, Jones used his enhanced strength and tough hide to his advantage. However, his condition continued to deteriorate, further disfiguring him and augmenting his primal instincts. He turned to a life of crime in Gotham City, using his increasing strength and animalistic abilities to establish himself as a powerful underworld figure.

Killer Croc's physical appearance and bestial nature have varied in different iterations, ranging from a character with reptilian skin to a nearly full-fledged crocodile monster. He is often depicted as having limited intelligence but possessing immense physical strength and durability, making him a formidable opponent in combat.
