Omega Squad was a Republic commando unit in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Primarily operating behind enemy lines, they specialized in covert operations and sabotage against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Unlike standard clone units, Omega Squad was raised outside the standard Kamino facility.
The squad consisted of four commandos: RC-1138 "Fixer" the squad's second-in-command, RC-1207 "Sev" the sharpshooter, RC-1136 "Boss" the leader of the unit and RC-3222 "Atin" the demolitions expert and hacker. Due to their training under Sergeant Walon Vau and Kal Skirata, and having been outside the influence of Kamino, each clone trooper exhibited a strong degree of individuality and independent thought.
Throughout the Clone Wars, Omega Squad participated in numerous high-stakes missions, often collaborating with other special forces units, including Delta Squad. They were notably involved in operations on planets like Geonosis and Coruscant. The squads were noted for both their strategic effectiveness and unconventional methods.
Following the end of the war, Omega Squad's fate is largely unknown. Sev goes missing on a mission shortly after the order 66 was issued and he is never found. The remaining members, however, are not presumed to have enforced Order 66 but joined with Kal Skirata to help other clone troopers and their families.
