Biography:
Robin, in the classic 1960s Batman television series, is the alias of Dick Grayson, a young acrobat orphaned after his parents' tragic death during a circus performance. Bruce Wayne, secretly Batman, witnesses the event and, recognizing a kindred spirit, takes Dick in as his ward.
Bruce quickly trains Dick in martial arts, detective work, and other crime-fighting skills. Adopting the identity of Robin, Dick becomes Batman's loyal sidekick, fighting alongside him to protect Gotham City from various outlandish villains.
Played by Burt Ward, Robin is depicted as an enthusiastic and energetic youth. He is known for his catchphrases like "Holy (various nouns)!" and his acrobatic fighting style.
