Hydra Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers, is a controversial alternate version of the classic Marvel Comics hero. This version was introduced in the 2016 "Captain America: Steve Rogers" comic series.
In this storyline, it is revealed that Rogers was secretly a Hydra sleeper agent, brainwashed or manipulated from a young age to serve the organization's nefarious goals. This revelation drastically altered his established history and moral compass.
