Steven Rogers, known as Captain America, is a central figure in The Avengers. Born frail and afflicted with numerous health problems, Rogers was deemed unfit for military service during World War II.
Driven by a deep sense of patriotism and a desire to fight for his country, Rogers volunteered for a secret experiment. This experiment, known as Project Rebirth, administered the Super-Soldier Serum and Vita-Rays, transforming him into the peak of human potential.
With enhanced strength, agility, and stamina, Captain America became a symbol of hope and freedom, leading the charge against Hydra and other Axis powers. Near the end of the war, he was presumed dead after plunging into the Arctic during a mission.
Rogers was discovered decades later, frozen in suspended animation. Thawed out and revived, he found himself in the modern era, struggling to adjust to the vastly different world. He then joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and became a key member of The Avengers, using his combat skills and unwavering moral compass to protect Earth from global threats.
