Chinese Deadpool, also known as Red Deadpool or Deadman Wade, is a character from the Marvel Comics universe. He is essentially the Chinese counterpart to the original Deadpool, Wade Wilson.
Introduced in the Deadpool series, he's portrayed as a product of the Chinese government's attempt to replicate the Weapon X program that created Deadpool. This resulted in his own healing factor and similar combat abilities.
Unlike Wade Wilson, very little of his backstory has been revealed. He is typically presented as a ruthless operative, often working at the behest of the Chinese government or other shadowy organizations. His personality is considerably more serious and disciplined compared to the Merc with a Mouth.
He has been involved in confrontations with the mainstream Deadpool, leading to humorous clashes and uneasy alliances. His primary function in the Marvel universe is to provide a foil to the original Deadpool, highlighting the differences in their origins and approaches to being a mercenary.
